Julian Ovenden, Laura Pitt-Pulford, and Josefina Gabrielle also star in Susan Stroman’s production.

The Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical Little Dancer will have West End premiere in February 2027 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Little Dancer tells the story of Marie van Goethem, the young ballerina who posed for Edgar Degas and inspired his iconic sculpture Little Dancer of Fourteen Years. It premiered in 2014 at the Kennedy Center, and had a 2018 production under the title Marie, Dancing Still, at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.
Susan Stroman, who has directed and choreographed the project since the Kennedy Center staging, will return for the West End mounting, as well star Tiler Peck, who plays young Marie. Peck is joined by Julian Ovenden as Edgar Degas, Laura Pitt-Pulford as Adult Marie, and Josefina Gabrielle as Martine, with full casting to be announced at a later date.
The creative team includes set designer Beowulf Boritt, lighting designer Ken Billington, costume designer William Ivey Long, sound designer Kai Harada, orchestrators DOug Besterman and Larry Hochman, and music supervisor/dance arranger Sam Davis.
Performances run February 15-March 27, 2027, with Peck currently scheduled to star until March 20.
