The Off-Broadway musical ROOMS a rock romance will conclude its run at New World Stages on Sunday, May 10. At that point, the production will have played 20 previews and 64 regular performances.

It was also announced that Time Life is set to record the show on May 12, with a projected release later this year. The show, which is directed by Scott Schwartz, stars Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger. The recording will be produced by multiple Grammy Award nominee Robert Sher.

ROOMS, which has music and lyrics by Paul Scott Goodman and a book by Goodman and Miriam Gordon, begins in 1970s Glasgow where Monica, an ambitious singer/songwriter meets Ian, a reclusive rocker. The two quickly become entangled creatively and romantically, but as they gain professional success, their personalities drive them apart.
