Rob Evan, Annie Golden, Robi Hager, Donna Kane, Matt Leisy, Julia Murney, Ciaran Sheehan, and Ed Watts will be among the performers in a one-night-only benefit for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Mark Hartman will serve as musical director for the concert, to be held at Masonic Hall, on Monday, December 5. Kane will serve as host.
The program will include such Broadway songs as “I Dreamed A Dream”, “This is the Moment”, “Defying Gravity”, “Try to Remember”, “Music of the Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Stage, screen and television star Frances Sternhagen will also make a special appearance.
All proceeds will go to help purchase equipment for the new operating room at the Philadelphia Hospital. The non-profit Shriners Hospitals for Children-Philadelphia provides specialty pediatric care in orthopedics and spinal cord injury, without regard to families’ financial circumstances.
