Richard Kline will join the previously reported cast members Tyne Daly,
Edward Hibbert, and Harriet Harris in the world premiere new musical It Shoulda Been You at the George Street Playhouse, October 4-November 6, with an opening on October 14. Tony and Emmy Award-Winning actor David Hyde Pierce will make his directorial debut with this production.
Featuring a book and lyrics by Brian Hargrove and music by Barbara Anselmi, the musical is about an interfaith wedding that spins out of control.
Kline is best known to TV watchers as Larry on the sitcom Three’s Company. He most recently appeared on Broadway in David Mamet’s November, and other stage credits include Wicked, City of Angels, and The Crucible.
