Rain Pryor will bring her one-woman show Fried Chicken and Latkes to Off-Broadway’s Actors’ Temple Theatre for an open-ended engagement beginning Saturday, July 21.
In the award-winning piece, Pryor examines her life as the daughter of comedian Richard Pryor, and growing up African-American and Jewish in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Pryor’s stage credits include The Billie Holiday Story, Ella, Meet Marilyn, The Vagina Monologues, The Exonerated, and The Who’s Tommy. She has been seen on television in Head of the Class and Rude Awakening.
