Ragtime Accepting Video Submissions for Role of Little Coalhouse

The Broadway production is seeking a youth performer in the New York area for the non-speaking role.

Ragtime the Musical on Broadway is accepting video submissions for the role of Little Coalhouse, a non-speaking role that appears briefly at the beginning and end of the show.

The production is seeking New York hires only who are at least 6 years old. The casting call reads, “Character is Male, Black, 6–7 years old. 3’7” or smaller. Non-speaking role. Small, winning, innocent, pure, spunky, fearless. The heart of the show. Makes a brief cameo at the beginning and end of the show. Two Actors alternate in the role. ENSEMBLE.”
