A public celebration to honor the literary and theatrical career of Gore Vidal will be held August 23 from Noon to 1pm at Broadway’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, currently home to the revival of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man.
The event will feature film, television, and theater personalities presenting selections of Vidal’s works, as well as sharing personal remembrances and stories.
The event is open to the public with seating designated on a first come first served basis.
