Porchlight Music Theatre has announced the schedule for its 2009-2010 season, featuring a series of musicals exploring the challenges of growing-up, set to play at Theatre Building Chicago.
The season will open with the Harvey Schmidt-Tom Jones musical romance, The Fantasticks, September 11-November 8, based on Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand. The Patricia DiBenedetto Snyder-Will Severin-John Vreeke adaptation of Miracle on 34th Street, based on the novel by Valentine Davies, will fill the holiday season and ring in the new year, November 14-January 3. The season will close with Into The Woods, the fairy tale musical written by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, April 3-May 30.
