On Sunday, April 22, the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire opened at the
Broadhurst Theatre with direction by Emily Mann.
Opening night guests included Harry Belafonte, Beau Bridges, Eisa Davis, Michael C. Hall, Russel Hornsby, Stacy Keach, Boris Kodjoe, Adriane Lenox, Norm Lewis, Jay Manuel, Michael McKean, Annette O’Toole, Tonya Pinkins, Al Roker, Richard Thomas, Tamara Tunie and Cecily Tyson.
The production stars Blair Underwood as Stanley, Nicole Ari Parker as Blanche, Daphne Rubin-Vega as Stella, and Wood Harris as Mitch, and also features Rosa Evangelina Arredondo, Amelia Campbell, Carmen De Lavallade, Aaron Clifton Moten, Jacino Taras Riddick, Matthew Saldivar, and Count Stovall.
