On Sunday, November 6, the New York Musical Theatre Festival held their Eighth Annual Season Awards Gala at the Hudson Theater. American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee performed a number that she will deliver on NBC’s new musical drama Smash and stage and screen star Daniel Radcliffe presented an award to the show’s producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who are currently represented on Broadway with the revival of How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

The evening’s guests included Smash cast members Christian Borle, Jaime Cepero, Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey, Megan Hilty, Angelica Huston, and Debra Messing.

The evening also featured performances from some of this year’s most celebrated NYMF shows, including Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, Central Avenue Breakdown, Date of a Lifetime, This One Girl’s Story, and Kiki Baby!.
