Phil Hendrie to Star in The Pitch Off-Broadway

The play is written by Tom Alper, based on his own life experiences.

Story Worthy Media, under the executive direction of Christine Blackburn, announced the New York premiere of The Pitch off-Broadway at Actors Temple Theatre starting on October 9, with an official opening scheduled for October 16.

This dark comedy about a widowed father trapped between raising his rebellious teenage daughter and working in a cutthroat office full of manipulative salesmen is written by Tom Alper, based on his own experiences, and directed by Mike Keller.

Comedian Phil Hendrie, best known for his radio program The Phil Hendrie Show, stars as Mel. Other credits include This Is 40, Futurama, Rick and Morty, Team America: World Police, and Modern Family.

The cast also includes the playwright Tom Alper, Kevin Bartini, Connor Killeen, Joey Russo (Jersey Boys), Mario Corry (Tulsa King), Joe Lorenzo (Barry), Sammi O’Connor, Grant Hall (Grown-ish), and Julie Tran.
