Tony Award nominee Pablo Schreiber will be a series regular on the new CBS drama A Gifted Man, according to Deadline.com.
The show revolves around a surgeon whose world changes when his deceased ex-wife mysteriously appears to him. Schreiber, who guest starred in the pilot episode, directed by Jonathan Demme, will be playing Anton, a shaman and New Age spiritual healer.
As previously reported, additional stage veterans in the cast include star Patrick Wilson along with Jennifer Ehle, Margo Martindale, and Afton Williamson.
Schreiber received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Awake and Sing!, and also starred on Broadway in Desire Under the Elms. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Gruesome Playground Injuries, reasons to be pretty, Dying City, Mr. Marmalade, Manuscript, Sin: A Cardinal Deposed, Blood Orange, and Julius Caesar.
