
The Orlando Repertory Theatre has announced its production schedule for the 2009-2010 season, which will feature six family friendly productions.
The season will open with Charlotte’s Web, September 12-October 11, a staged version of E.B. White’s timeless story of friendship. How I Became A Pirate will follow, October 10-November 8, a musical by Alyn Cardarelli and Steve Goers. Dear Santa, November 20-December 20, is about a request from one child’s letter which throws the Claus workshop off course.
The Giver (A Sideways Series Production) will open the new year at Orlando Rep, January 29-February 28, Eric Coble’s adaptation of Lois Lowry’s Newbery Medal winning book. Berenstain Bears On Stage: A Bear Country Musical, February 27-March 28, will bring Papa, Mama, Brother, and Sister Bear to the stages with a host of life lessons and good habits. Ramona Quimby will close the season, April 17-May 23, Len Jenkin’s adaptation of Beverly Cleary’s books about the exasperating but lovable third-grader.
