David Drake will direct and perform in the Cape Cod premiere of Charles Busch’s The Divine Sister, running July 12-September 8 at the Provincetown Theater.

Drake will play Sister Walburgia in the production, which also features Ryan Landry (Mother Superior), Olive Another (Sister Acacius), Grace Carney (Agnes), Aaron Tone (Jeremy), and Sallie Tighe (Mrs. Levinson/Timothy).

The creative team includes Scott Martino (set and costume design), Jim Byrne (lighting design), and Bobby Miller (lighting design).

The Divine Sister, set at a cash-strapped convent school in 1966 Pittsburgh, is an homage to Hollywood films made about nuns.
