The Vineyard Theatre's company production of Ngozi Anyanwu's play Good Grief has released new photos ahead of opening night, set for October 30.

Awoye Timpo directs a company that features playwright Ngozi Anyanwu (HBO's The Deuce) as Nkechi, Oberon K.A. Adjepong (The Homecoming Queen) as Papa, Nnamdi Asomugha (Amazon's Crown Heights) as Bro, Patrice Johnson Chevannes (The Homecoming Queen) as NeNe, Hunter Parrish (Weeds) as JD, Ian Quinlan (The Long Road Home) as MJ, and Lisa Ramirez (To the Bone) as MJ's Mom/Neighbor.

The story is described as follows: "Nkechi was a good Nigerian-American girl. She did everything right. Went to med school. Made plans. Then life happened. And plans changed. A first-generation coming-of-age journey of love, loss, and growing into adulthood, Good Grief follows Nkechi as she navigates Pennsylvania's suburbs alongside her childhood crush, her would-be-philosopher brother, and her immigrant parents."

This production has scenic design by Jason Ardizzone-West, costume design by Andy Jean, lighting design by Oona Curley, sound design by Daniel Kluger, and fight direction by David Anzuelo.

Good Grief received its world premiere at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles. The Vineyard Theatre mounting is produced in association with Audible.
