Nathan Lane Will Host Yalie Concert to Benefit BC/EFA

On May 4, Nathan Lane — who has starred in such Broadway shows as Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and The Producers — will host Eli’s Comin’ to Broadway: The Best of Yale A-Capella, a night of choral music featuring Yale University’s three premiere a cappella choral groups: The Yale Whiffenpoofs, Whim’n Rhythm, and The Yale Alley Cats. All proceeds from the event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Yale Whiffenpoofs, the world’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, features 14 Yale senior men. Whim ‘n Rhythm features 14 Yale senior women. The Yale Alley Cats, another all-male group, are renowned for a wide-ranging repertoire that includes jazz, rock, pop, and classical music.

The event will be held at 8:30pm on Sunday, May 4 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. Tickets range in price from $15 to $100 and may be purchased by calling Center Charge at 212-721-6500 or online at www.bcefa.org.
