The Village Voice‘s Michael Musto will moderate a series of talk-backs following the July 31 and August 7 performances of Peter Quilter’s End of the Rainbow at the Belasco Theatre. The discussions — which will feature the play’s Tony Award-nominated and Olivier Award-winning star Tracie Bennett — will center on the play and its subject, the legendary actress/singer Judy Garland.
Terry Johnson directed the production, which also stars Michael Cumpsty, Tom Pelphrey, and Jay Russell. Set in 1968, the show is set in a London hotel room as Garland prepares for a series of concerts at the “Talk of the Town” nightclub.
Musto is the author of the Village Voice column “La Dolce Musto,” and the author of books including Fork on the Left, Knife in the Back.
