WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Starring Olivier Award-winner Tracie Bennett in a bravura performance as Judy Garland, End of the Rainbow received rave reviews and four Olivier Award nominations in London. The setting is December 1968, and Judy Garland is about to make her comeback... again. In a London hotel room preparing for a series of concerts, with both her new young fiancé and her adoring accompanist, Garland struggles to get "beyond the rainbow" with her signature cocktail of talent, tenacity, and razor-sharp wit. This savagely funny drama offers unique insight into the inner conflict that inspired and consumed one of the most beloved figures in American popular culture. End of the Rainbow features some of Garland's most memorable songs, performed with the show-stopping gusto for which she will always be remembered. The cast also features Michael Cumpsty, Tom Pelphrey and Jay Russell.

Tracie Bennett is simply AMAZING !!!
I do not normally take the time to write online reviews, however, having seen the first preview of "End Of The Rainbow" I felt compelled to do so. This was the most amazing eveninvg of live theater that I have ever seen. Tracie Bennett gives the most incredible and emotional performance that I genuinely feel as though I saw an event tonight that will be remembered for many years. Her range of emotions is par excellence, and it is hard to not believe she will surely be nominated for this performance. I would highly recommend that you run not walk to get tickets to this show. One not need be a Judy Garland fan to thoroughly enjoy this show. If this was a motion picture, surely she would be nomionated for an Academy Award. I would , for this show, recommend spending the extra money to sit up close in order to capture her ever changing emotions on her face. 5*****
