Obie Award winner Michael Chernus will guest star in a multi-episode arc of Showtime’s The Big C, according to TVLine.com.
He will play Rick, described as “a dynamic, groovy pastor of a church that Adam (Gabriel Basso) starts to attend.”
Chernus won an Obie for his performance in In the Wake, and most recently appeared Off-Broadway in Close Up Space.
The Big C stars Broadway veteran Laura Linney as a woman who reclaims her life after a terminal cancer diagnosis.
