Miami New Drama's World Premiere of The Zionists: A Family Storm Announces Cast

Miami New Drama, in association with Midnight Theatricals, has announced the full cast for the world premiere production of The Zionists: A Family Storm, a new play written by S. Asher Gelman, running April 9-May 3.

Directed by Chloe Treat, the cast will include Shira Alon as Dana, William DeMeritt as Zephyr, Coby Getzug as Aaron, Joanna Glushak as Ruth, Avi Hoffman as Mitchell, Jamie Ann Romero as Maria, Dani Stoller as Bex, and Gregg Weiner as David.

The design team includes scenic designer Adam Koch, lighting designer Solomon Weisbard, costume designer Anya Klepikov, wig designer Carol Raskin, projection designer Bryce Cutler, and props designer Jameelah Bailey.

In the play, a prominent Jewish family, fractured by the politics and aftermath of October 7, gathers for a fragile reunion at a luxury Caribbean resort when a sudden hurricane bears down outside their bungalow, and an even fiercer storm erupts within the family.
