Outfest has announced a number of special events to be held in conjunction with Outfest 2010: The 28th Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, which will run July 8-18.
Glee star and theater veteran Jane Lynch — who as previously reported will receive Outfest’s 14th annual Achievement Award — will participate in A Conversation with Jane Lynch with Variety‘s Peter Debruge.
Additional events will include a Q&A with Candis Cayne and Cybil Shepherd following a sneak preview of an upcoming episode of Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva and Meredith Baxter participating in a “Coming Out in Hollywood” panel, as well as panels on casting, LGBT films that have inspired writers and directors, and transgender politics.
There will also be a 10th Anniversary screening of The Broken Hearts Club with writer/director Greg Berlanti, producer Mickey Lidell, and actors Andrew Keegan and Timothy Olyphant, and Outfest’s annual Family Fun Day.
