Megan Hilty and Jessie Mueller to Star in New Patsy Cline-Loretta Lynn Biopic

Megan Hilty and Jessie Mueller will play country music superstars Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn in the upcoming Lifetime original movie Patsy & Loretta. The news was first reported by TVLine.
Patsy & Loretta will explore the relatively unknown friendship between Cline (Hilty) and Lynn (Mueller), who became close friends and tour mates before Cline died at the age of 30 in a plane crash. After Cline's death, Lynn, her mentee, would go on to become the "First Lady of Country Music.'
Directing the film will be Nashville's Callie Khouri. The film will shoot in Nashville later this month, with a late 2019 debut still to be announced.
