Marlo Thomas will guest star in an upcoming episode of the NBC sitcom The New Normal, series creator Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress, best known for her work on the TV series That Girl, will play the owner of a real estate company who serves as the mentor to Ellen Barkin‘s character Jane.
Thomas’ credits also include the stage productions Relatively Speaking, Social Security, and Nobody’s Child, among others.
The New Normal stars Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells as a gay couple trying to have a baby a surrogate (played by Georgia King).
