Mariska Hargitay, Elizabeth Marvel, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and More at Cymbeline Opening

Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Elizabeth Marvel (House of Cards), Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell (Shuffle Along), and more stars came out for the opening of Cymbeline, the second show of the Public Theater's Free Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte Theater.

Directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, the production is led by Hamish Linklater as Posthumus Leonatus and Cloten and Lily Rabe as Imogen, alongside Teagle F. Bougere (Caius Lucius, Cornelius), Kate Burton (Queen, Belarius), Raúl Esparza (Iachimo), David Furr (Guidarius, First Lord), Jacob Ming-Trent (Aviragus, First Gentleman), Patrick Page (Cymbeline), and Steven Skybell (Pisanio, Gaoler, Frenchman).

Cymbeline tells the story of Princess Imogen, whose fidelity is put to the royal test when her disapproving father banishes her soul mate. The plot includes cross-dressing girls and cross-dressing boys, poisons and sword fights and dastardly villains.

Cymbeline features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by David Lander, sound design by Acme Sound Partners, original music by Tom Kitt, and choreography by Mimi Lieber.
