The American Alliance for Theatre and Education has announced the appointment of Marcie Granahan as the association’s new Executive Director.
Granahan, a certified association executive, served for six years as the CEO of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. Her career has also included serving as the Executive Director of the National Center for Responsible Gaming, Vice President of Communications for the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, and seven years at the American Society of Association Executives as Vice President of Member Resources and Strategic Relations.
Granahan will replace Lynne Kingsley, who stepped down last month, but will continue to serve the organization as a member and volunteer consultant.
