CBS has ordered four new series for its 2012 Fall schedule.
The series include Elementary, a new take on Sherlock Holmes, starring stage veterans Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, and Aidan Quinn; Partners, a comedy about two best friends and business partners — one straight, and one gay — starring Michael Urie; Made in Jersey, starring Janet Montgomery as an ambitious lawyer, and featuring stage veterans Kyle McLachlan and Tony Award winner Donna Murphy; and Vegas, starring Dennis Quaid as a rancher asked to bring order to the Nevada town in the 1960s, and co-starring Jason O’Mara and Michael Chiklis.
The network renewed many series, including The Good Wife, How I Met Your Mother, The Mentalist, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, The Amazing Race, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, 2 Broke Girls, Person of Interest, Survivor, Criminal Minds, CSI, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods, The Big Bang Theory, and 60 Minutes.
