PCPA TheaterFest in California will continue its 45th anniversary season with James Valcq and Fred Alley’s The Spitfire Grill. The musical will play both Santa Maria’s Marian Theatre (August 7- 23) and Solvang’s Festival Theater (August 28-September 13).
Based on the popular movie by David Zlotoff, Grill focuses on a young woman looking for a new beginning in a small town called Gilead. Directed by Valerie Rachelle, the production features Lexy Fridell (Gone Missing off-Broadway, Avenue Q on tour, Finding Nemo at Disney World) along wish Michael Jenkinson, Colum Parke Morgan, Phoebe Moyer, Bree Murphy, and Kiera O’Niel.
