Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams will guest star in an upcoming episode of CBS’ The Good Wife.
She will play the upscale mother of two sons, one a Wall Street broker, the other a convicted murderer sentenced to death row, in an episode titled “Here Comes Santa.” No air date has been set.
Uggams won a Tony Award for Hallelujah, Baby!. Among her other Broadway credits are Anything Goes, Blues in the Night, and On Golden Pond. She is also an Emmy Award-winning actress and popular recording artist.
The Good Wife stars stage veterans Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming, and Julianna Margulies, along with Matt Czuchry and Archi Panjabi.
