Stage and screen veterans Kristin Chenoweth, Whoopi Goldberg, and Ewan McGregor, trainer and television personality Jillian Michaels, and Emmy Award winner Betty White will be among the judges for the American Humane Association’s inaugural Hero Dog Awards, which will air on the Hallmark Channel on November 11.
During the 90-minute show, dogs will compete in eight categories: law enforcement and arson dogs; service dogs; therapy dogs; military dogs; guide dogs; search and rescue dogs; hearing dogs, and emerging hero dogs, for “ordinary pets who do extraordinary things,” according to Hallmark.
The winning dogs will get to attend their own red carpet awards gala in Beverly Hills.
