Original stars of ”The Last Five Years”, ”Parade”, and ”The Bridges of Madison County”, and ”13” will perform in concert with the Tony-winning songwriter.
Three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown and a number of original cast members from his musicals will take the stage at SubCulture on December 6 to kick off Brown's tenure as artist in residence at the new concert venue.
The show's performers, backed by a 10-piece band, will include Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale of The Bridges of Madison County, Carolee Carmello and Jessica Molaskey of Parade, Lauren Kennedy and Betsy Wolfe of The Last Five Years, and Graham Phillips, Allie Trimm, and Aaron Simon Gross of 13. Additional performers will be announced.
Brown is also the author of Songs for a New World and Honeymoon in Vegas, which begins Broadway performances November 18. A film version of The Last Five Years, starring Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick, will be released in 2015. Brown won Tonys for Parade (Best Original Score) and The Bridges of Madison County (Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations).
Tickets for the concert will go on sale November 7.
