Keala Settle, Amanda Green, and the Hands on a Hardbody Team Celebrate the Release of Their Cast Album at Barnes & Noble

The cast of Broadway’s Hands on a Hardbody reunited to sing a few tunes at Barnes & Noble on Wednesday evening.

The cast of Hands on a Hardbody, the Broadway musical about a group of down-on-their-luck Texans vying to win a shiny red pickup truck, performed a selection of numbers from the now-closed show at Barnes & Noble on Wednesday, September 4, to celebrate the recent release of the original cast album.

Featuring a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright (Grey Gardens) and a Tony-nominated score by Phish star Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green (Bring It On), Hands on a Hardbody opened on March 21 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, where it ran for a total of 28 performances. Featured in the company are Tony nominee Keith Carradine (The Will Rogers Follies), Allison Case (Hair), Tony nominee Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors), Drama Desk Award winner Jay Armstrong Johnson (Catch Me If You Can), David Larsen (American Idiot), Jacob Ming-Trent (Shrek The Musical), Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone (Tales of the City), Mary Gordon Murray (Into the Woods), Jim Newman (Curtains), Connie Ray (Next Fall), Jon Rua (In the Heights), Tony nominee Keala Settle (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Dale Soules (Grey Gardens), Scott Wakefield (Ring of Fire), and William Youmans (Wicked).
