Judy Kaye, Harriet Harris, and More to Join Christian Borle in Encores! Production of Little Me

Drama Desk Award winner Rachel York will star opposite Borle as the object of his six characters’ affections.

An illustrious group of Broadway stars have been announced as joining the cast of the upcoming Encores! production of Little Me.

As previously announced, Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher) will star in the Cy Coleman, Carolyn Leigh, and Neil Simon musical, portraying each of the six oddball lovers of Belle Poitrine, a self-invented celebrity in hot pursuit of wealth, culture, and social position.

Joining Borle will be Drama Desk Award winner Rachel York (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) as the social-climbing Belle, Robert Creighton (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) in multiple parts, Tony nominee David Garrison (Oliver!) as Patrick Dennis, Tony winner Harriet Harris (Cinderella) as Mrs. Eggelston, Tony winner Judy Kaye (Nice Work If You Can Get It) as Older Belle, Tony nominee Lewis J. Stadlen (The Nance) as Bennie Buchsbaum, Tony nominee Lee Wilkof (Breakfast at Tiffany's) as Bernie Buchsbaum, and the previously announced Tony Yazbeck (Gypsy) as George Musgrove.

The original 1962 Broadway production of Little Me starred Sid Caesar as the six lovers (Borle's roles), and ran at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre for 257 performances. The musical will run for seven performances at New York City Center February 5-9, featuring direction by Tony Award winner John Rando (A Christmas Story The Musical), music direction by Rob Berman (Irving Berlin's White Christmas), and Emmy Award-winning choreography by Joshua Bergasse (NBC's Smash).
