Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe will star in Sky Arts’ series based on Russian satirist Mikhal Bulgakov’s short story memoir A Young Doctor’s Notebook, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the site, the actors will play the same Russian war medic at different stages of life, with Radcliff playing the medic during his days on the battlefield in World War I, while Hamm, serving at times as narrator, will confront his younger self in a series of “bleakly comic” exchanges.

Hamm is best known for his work on TV’s Mad Men. Radcliffe has appeared on Broadway in Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and is well known for his work in the Harry Potter series of films.
