
The Abrons Arts Center has announced its Fall 2010 programming, which will begin with the New York City Players production of Christina Masciotti’s new play Vision Disturbance, September 1-18.
Richard Maxwell will direct.
Joey Arias will be joined by Manfred “Thierry” Mugler for the world premiere of the theatrical concert Z Chromosone, September 23-October 9. Basil Twist will provide puppets. Downtown performance legend Ann Magnuson will join Adam Dugas for Dueling Harps, October 14-16.
Tony nominee Karole Armitage and her Armitage Gone! Dance will present a free Sunday afternoon concert entitled Think Punk on October 17. Tony nominee Justin Bond will bring back the gender-bending holiday show, Christmas Spells, December 8-18.
Additional events will include a Steampunk Haunted House (October 22-31), Samuael Topiary in Landscape with the Fall of Icarus (November 11-20), Daniel Clifton & Christopher Lancaster in the music and dance concert Time Stands Still (November 11-13), Jonah Bokaer and Harrison Atelier in Anchises (November 17-21), and Urban Ballet Theater in Nutcracker in the Lower (November 27-December 4).
