Jill Marie Burke, Dan Callaway, Josh Tower, and More Set for Musical Theatre Guild’s Violet

Full casting has been announced for Musical Theatre Guild’s presentation of Brian Crawley and Jeanine Tesori’s musical, Violet, to be presented at the Alex Theatre, June 15 at 7:30 pm. Richard Israel will direct, with musical direction by Alby Potts and choreography by Shauna Markey.

Based on the short story “The Ugliest Pilgrim” by Doris Betts, the musical covers the emotional road trip of a scarred young woman — and two handsome soldiers — traveling towards a T.V. preacher who supposedly will make her beautiful.

The cast will include Dane Biren, Jill Marie Burke, Dan Callaway, Karole Foreman, Gordon Goodman, Christopher Warren Gilbert, Maggie Herskowitz, Tracy Lore, Brandon Michael Perkins, Josh Tower, and Shannon Warne.
