The Broadway vets stopped by the Brooks Atkinson Theatre to see Tyne Daly, David Burtka, and the cast.
Before he takes on the Public Theater's free Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest at the Delacorte Theater, Broadway veteran and Modern Family favorite Jesse Tyler Ferguson visited Brian Hargrove and Barbara Anselmi's new musical comedy It Shoulda Been You on Broadway. TV favorite and Tony nominee Charlotte Rae (The Facts of Life) also stopped by the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Both actors went backstage post-show to visit with the stars of the wedding-themed musical.
It Shoulda Been You is described as "a culture clash for the ages" that follows two families who come together to celebrate a wedding. Directed by David Hyde Pierce, the production stars Tyne Daly and Harriet Harris as mothers of the bride and groom, alongside Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, David Burtka, Edward Hibbert, Chip Zien, Montego Glover, Josh Grisetti, Michael X. Martin, Anne L. Nathan, and Nick Spangler.
