Jennifer Lawrence to Star in New Film Directed by Lila Neugebauer

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence will team up with director Lila Neugebauer for an upcoming feature film, Variety reports. It is written by Elizabeth Sanders and backed by IAC Films and A24.
Scott Rudin and Eli Bush are producing, with Lawrence and Justine Polsky's company, Excellent Cadaver. Principal photography will start in June in New Orleans. Specifics about the plot and title are being kept under wraps.
Neugebauer recently directed The Waverly Gallery on Broadway, and also staged productions ranging from Mary Page Marlowe to The Antipodes. She makes her cinema debut with this project, after having directed an episode of Room 104 for HBO. Lawrence won an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook.
