Photos from the Broadway premiere of Blackbird, starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams, have been released. Directed by Joe Mantello, the production opens March 10 at the Belasco Theatre.
David Harrower's Olivier Award-winning play is described as "the story of Una and Ray. Fifteen years earlier they had a relationship and haven't set eyes on each other since. Now she's found him again." Mantello also directed the work's New York premiere at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2007, a production that starred Daniels and Alison Pill.
Blackbird's creative team includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Ann Roth (costume design), Brian MacDevitt (lighting design), and Fitz Patton (sound design).
