The Metropolitan Room has announced programming for July.
Among the venue’s offerings will be Broadway on 22nd Street (July 11), which will feature Doreen Montalvo, Oliver Reid, Stacey Todd Holt, Danny Boloero, and Anne Fraser Thomas performing duets from Broadway shows, and Shades of Grey: a musical tribute to Joel Grey (July 31).
Artists who will be offering multiple performances during the month include jazz legend Annie Ross (July 12, 19 & 26 at 9:30pm), Melanie Stace (July 7 & 14 at 7pm; July 23 at 9:30pm), Baby Jane Dexter (July 8, 9, 15 & 16 at 7pm), and Maggie Kneip (July 19 & 20 at 7pm).
Other performers scheduled to appear at the venue include Annette Bland McCoy (July 2), Lisa Passero (July 3), Norman Lasiter (July 6), Jerry Costanza (July 6), Ashaki (July 7), Ward Marston and Rosemary Benson (July 10), David McBride (July 10), Sigali Hamberger (July 12), Carole Troll (July 14), Tshidi Mayne (July 17), Tammy McCann (July 17), Jason Danieley and the Frontier Heroes (July 21), Dominic Mattos (July 29), and Carrie Jackson (July 30).
The Metropolitan Room schedule will also include the weekly series MetroJam, hosted by Jenna Esposito (Fridays at 10pm); and the ongoing Metrostar Talent Challenge (July 11, 18 & 25, 7pm).
