Jarrod Emick to Star in Capital Playhouse’s Sweeney Todd

Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick will play the title role in the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler musical Sweeney Todd, to play the Capital Playhouse in Olympia, Washington, October 4-27.

The production will be directed by Jeff Kingsbury, with musical direction by Troy Arnold Fisher. The cast will also feature Jennie May Donnell, Eddie Caroll, Adam Yost, Erica Penn, Sara Flotree, Jerod Nace, and Adam Randolph.

Emick received the Tony for his portrayal of Joe Hardy in the 1994 revival of Damn Yankees. His other Broadway credits include Miss Saigon, The Rocky Horror Show, The Boy from Oz, and Ring of Fire.
