Peter Schneider will present Italian performer Maria Cassi in her U.S. debut with her solo show My Life With Men… and Other Animals, March 15-18 at 45th Street Theatre in New York City and March 9 and 10 at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College.
In this semi-autobiographical look at the lifelong process of figuring out what makes up la dolce vita, Cassi offers a crash course in love, seduction, death, and olive oil. She brings to life a host of characters including her reproachful mother, a faithless boyfriend, and an American bag lady.
My Life With Men… and Other Animals is conceived and developed by Tony Award-winner Peter Schneider, Cassi, and journalist Patrick Pacheco. It is co-written by Cassi and Pacheco and produced by Change Performing Arts and Teatro del Sale.
