Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to Welcome New Stars in November

Cara Ricketts, Daniel Fredrick, and more join the company at the Lyric Theatre.

Casting for the 2023-2024 company of Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been announced.

Joining the company at the Lyric Theatre beginning Tuesday, November 14 will be Cara Ricketts and Daniel Fredrick as Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, with Maya Jerome Thomas as Rose Granger-Weasley and Jane Bruce as Delphi Diggory, alongside incoming ensemble members John Alix, William Bednar, Eric Cheung, Jamyl Dobson, Eleasha Gamble, Kaléa Leverette, Kira Player, Gabrielle Reid, and Emily Schultheis.

Steve Haggard, Angela Reed, Joel Meyers, Aaron Bartz, and Erik Christopher Peterson will continue as Harry Potter, Ginny Potter, Albus Potter, Draco Malfoy, and Scorpius Malfoy. Returning ensemble members are Chadd Alexander, Quinn Blades, Darby Breedlove, Ted Deasy, Irving Dyson Jr., Kira Fath, Gary-Kayi Fletcher, Logan James Hall, Abbi Hawk, Chance Marshaun Hill, Edward James Hyland, Nick Hyland, Jax Jackson, Jack Koenig, Erik Evan Olson, Alexandra Peter, William Rhem Jr., Stephen Spinella, Tom Stephens, and Karen Janes Woditsch.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany. It features movement by Steven Hoggett, set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music and arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gareth Fry, illusions and magic by Jamie Harrison, and music supervision and arrangements by Martin Lowe.
