Seven weeks ago Questlove Instagrammed a cryptic photo featuring his Roots bandmate Black Thought, Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Hamilton cast members Renée Elise Goldsberry and Daveed Diggs. According to the image's accompanying text, the group was working on a secret project, and since then, we've been on high alert to find out what it could be.

At this week's BET Hip-Hop Awards, we finally got the answer: a Hamilton-themed BET Cypher. Hear each of the three members of the Broadway crew "spit a verse" as him- or herself — rather than one of the founding fathers or mothers — in the video below.
