Former Presentations Administrator Lauren Ignaut has been appointed Director of Studio Theater Programming at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. This position means overseeing programming and presentations in the Guthrie’s Dowling Studio.
Ignaut, a Minneapolis native, graduated from Boston University and arrived at Guthrie in 2006. She is also a founding member of the Strange Capers, a group dedicated to emerging artists and theater accessibility through innovative Shakespeare productions.
The Tony Award-winning Guthrie Theater, an American center for theater performance, production, education, and professional training, is under the direction of Joe Dowling.
