Grammy Winner Luis Fonsi to Headline Broadway’s Forever Tango

Luis Fonsi, a Grammy-winning musician who has collaborated with artists such as Christina Aguilera and Martina McBride, is set to join the company of Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango for two weeks only. The acclaimed pop star will perform from August 20-September 1 at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Special guest star Luis Enrique will appear July 30-August 18.

Fonsi’ first album Comenzare became an instant hit on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. He has since produced five albums that have debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Album Chart and have reached Certified Gold and Platinum Sales in the U.S. and major international markets.

Forever Tango, which opened July 9, was already a Broadway hit both in its first iteration in 1997 and when it last returned to the Great White Way in 2004. The dance extravaganza channels its story through one of the world’s favorite forms of dance. Each performance features sixteen world-class tango dancers, one vocalist, and the eleven-piece Forever Tango orchestra.
