The Broadway legend will field fan questions before the premiere of her ”Great Performances” concert on PBS.
On Thursday, November 5, at 3pm, two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Chita Rivera will be answering fan questions during a live PBS Facebook question and answer session. To participate, fans can log on to PBS' Facebook page here.
The Q&A will be held one day in advance of the broadcast of her Great Performances special Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ to Do, set to air on PBS on Friday, November 6, at 9pm. The concert will offer a retrospective of Rivera's life and career, featuring interviews, archival performance footage, and newly filmed numbers from Rivera’s concert including such numbers as "A Boy Like That," "America," "A Lot of Livin’ to Do," "All That Jazz," and "Nowadays."
A 10-time Tony nominee, Rivera was most recently seen on Broadway earlier this year in Kander and Ebb's The Visit. She earned Tony Awards for her performances in Kander and Ebb's The Rink and Kiss of the Spider Woman, and she is well known for originating roles in Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story, and Chicago, among other classic Broadway musicals.
Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin’ to Do was produced by Richard R. Schilling and directed by David Horn.
