Sarah C. Carlsen will direct the play at Urban Stages.
Urban Stages has announced plans to present the American premiere of Oren Safdie’s Unseamly from October 8-November 4. Sarah C. Carlsen will direct the play, which opens October 14.
Unseamly follows a young woman seeking legal advice to initiate charges of sexual harassment against her former boss, the CEO of an international clothing company known for its risqué billboards. The play was originally presented in Quebec at the Infinite Theatre.
The cast of Unseamly will feature Gizel Jimenez (West Side Story national tour), Tommy Schrider (War Horse), and Jonathan Silver (JFK: The Smoking Gun).
The creative team includes Brian Dudkiewicz (set and costume design), Christina Watanabe (lighting design), Douglas Mills (sound design), and Nicholas Blade Guldner (projection design).
