Get Out Your Cleats and Watch This Footage From The Wolves
Lincoln Center Theater has released video from its new production of Sarah DeLappe's award-winning play The Wolves. The show opens at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on November 20.
The Wolves follows the members of an indoor soccer team, the Wolves, who navigate big questions and wage tiny battles from the safety of their suburban stretch circle. The play is described as "a portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American teens who just want to score some goals."

Directed by Lila Neugebauer, The Wolves was originally produced by the Playwrights Realm in association with New York Stage & Film and Vassar’s Powerhouse Theatre season. The play ran at the Duke on 42nd Street in September of 2016, followed by a return engagement at the Duke in November, earning a place as a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, an Obie Ensemble Award shared by director Neugebauer and the acting ensemble, a special Drama Desk Award for its acting ensemble, and nominations for the Lucille Lortel and Drama League Award for Best Play. The Wolves also received an Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award nomination for Outstanding New American Play.
Lincoln Center Theater’s production of The Wolves will feature original off-Broadway stars Mia Barron, Brenna Coates, Jenna Dioguardi, Samia Finnerty, Midori Francis, Lizzy Jutila, Sarah Mezzanotte, Tedra Millan, and Susannah Perkins. Paola Sanchez Abreu completes the ensemble.
The production will have sets by Laura Jellinek, costumes by Ásta Bennie Hostetter, lighting by Lap Chi Chu, and sound by Stowe Nelson.
