The archangels have been cast in George Street Playhouse's new production of David Javerbaum's An Act of God.

Stephen DeRosa (On the Town, Betrayal) will play Michael and Jim Walton (She Loves Me, On the Twentieth Century) will play Gabriel alongside the previously announced Kathleen Turner, who plays God. George Street Playhouse artistic director David Saint will direct the production, running November 28-December 23.

Written by 13-time Emmy Award winner David Javerbaum (based on his book The Last Testament: A Memoir by God and his popular Twitter feed), An Act of God made its Broadway debut with Jim Parsons as God and returned to Broadway in 2016 starring Sean Hayes. In the show, God, along with two archangels, answer many of the deepest (and not so deep) questions that have plagued mankind since Creation.
