Tony Award winner Gary Beach will join the national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python’s Spamalot in the role of King Arthur on March 4 at the Arsht Center in Miami, Florida. Beach is currently signed with the tour through August. Directed by Mike Nichols, the show features a book by Eric Idle, with music and lyrics by Idle and John Du Prez.
In addition to Beach, the tour stars Esther Stilwell as The Lady of The Lake, James Beaman as Sir Robin, Christopher Sutton as Prince Herbert, Ben Davis as Sir Dennis Galahad, Brad Bradley as Patsy, Christopher Gurr as Sir Bedevere, and Patrick Heusinger as Sir Lancelot. The cast also features Matt Allen, Piper Lindsay Arpan, Julie Barnes, Graham Bowen, Jonathan Brody, Nigel Columbus, Timothy Connell, Cara Cooper, Erik Hayden, Jennifer Mathie, Angelina Mullins, Brian O’Brien, Lyn Philistine, TeraLee Pollin, Jennifer Rias, Darryl Semira, and Paula Wise.
Beach received the Tony Award for his portrayal of Roger DeBris in The Producers and received Tony nominations for his work in the revival of La Cage Aux Folles and Beauty and the Beast. He most recently appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables.
